June 2014

Our 2014 Questors show, 'Curtains' has now drawn to a close! We had a fantastic time bringing Kander & Ebb's last musical to (Ealing) Broadway, and the cast, crew and creative team did a fantastic job bringing the murder-mystery, romantic-comedy musical to life!

It wasn't all hard work, we had a lot of fun (and silliness) at rehearsals, and even managed to squeeze a sneaky pub crawl into our publicity activities.

A number of us also went to support one of our members, Matt, who ran the London Marathon & raised a phenomenal £2900 for AIDS charity Waverley Care. We're all very proud of him... and a little jealous at how fresh faced he looked afterwards!

We are also very proud of our Nick, who has been nominated for the London Noda Ken Wirdnam Award for Best Male Character in a musical for his performance of Mr. Clifford in our 2013 production of Acorn Antiques. Winners are announced in July, so we're keeping our fingers crossed for him!

Saving the best for last, however, we are pleased to announce that our October production is 'Showtune', a revue of the works of Jerry Herman. Including songs from shows such as La Cage Aux Folles, Mack and Mabel, Mame & Hello Dolly!, 'Showtune' is sure to be a huge success.

We had our first rehearsal on the 4th of June, and were pleased to welcome many new faces to the company. Don't worry, it's not to late to get involved!
